Celebrate the last day of 2022 in Downtown Sarasota with midway rides and games for all ages and favorite fair food, live music and DJs on three stages, specials at local bars and restaurants, and the annual Pineapple Drop followed by a spectacular fireworks display over Sarasota Bay.
Event admission is free.
Unlimited ride wristbands, valid from 10 am – 6 pm, are $30 online until 3 pm or on site till 5 pm while supplies last. Ride tickets, valid anytime, are available at the carnival or online till 3 pm for $50/50 tickets + 1 free ride. (Rides take 2 or more tickets each.)
Carnival hours are 10 am – 1 am in Selby Five Points Park. Parent/guardian supervision is required for ages 17 & younger.
The Pineapple Drop Block Party, hosted by the Sarasota Downtown Merchants Association, kicks off at 1 pm.
Live music starts at 8:30 pm with top 10 country artist Chas Collins (Lemon Avenue Stage), 22N dance band (Main Street Stage) and SRQ Beats (State Street Stage).
